[Text]: I've been thinking, what do you think of purple for your-my room? I'm thinking of making yours a sitting room and Albus' my closet.

[PM]: Okay, Lil. But really. I'm good. Take care of everyone else. Especially the younger kids. They've got to be terrified.

[text] I know, I know. But it makes me nervous knowing you're out there.

[PM]: I'll be fine, okay?

[text] Yeah. Part of me wants you to be and the other doesn't.

[PM]: Lily, I’m an Auror. Patrolling is part of the job description, when it’s needed. Someone needs to do it, right?

[text] Are you going to be one of the ones staying here?

[PM]: Patrolling, you mean?

[text] I've barely talked to anyone. You're the only one I've talked to about this. So they have no reason to feel like they're in the middle. I don't know where I stand with any of them so I've backed off so they aren't. [text] I've been coming to Dueling Club. Have you not seen me?

[private]: Where you stand with them? They’re your family. If being in the middle of things isn’t making them feel weird, then you not talking to them definitely does. 

[private]: I guess I haven’t.

[text] I like being their kids. But it's hard to think of much else sometimes. [text]. I don't think she's awful but I don't think she's as great as everyone else thinks she is. I just feel weird around my own family now because she felt the need to go around and call me all sorts of names to them. I want to do something to fight the brotherhood and because of one thing she never told me, I can't do it. And half our family thinks less of me because of it. Including you which hurts worst of all.

[private]: How are we back here? This happened weeks ago, Lily. Everyone has moved on. Everyone but you. You’re still stuck on it, and if our family is acting weird, that’s why. Because you’re their loved one, but Gracie is also a loved one, and you’re making them sit in the bloody middle and that’s uncomfortable. 

[private]: what are you talking about????? you said you weren’t going to join. you explicitly said, that even if she asked, you wouldn’t join. you said you wouldn’t join, and when i offered to help you train a bit, you said no, because you want them to use me instead, even though I’m not in Umbra anymore. 

[private]: Umbra isn’t meant to fight the Brotherhood. It’s formed to be prepared in case there’s a fight. You wouldn’t fight the brotherhood if you were in it, anyway, unless it reached that point where they were knocking down Hogwarts’ walls, and infiltrating the school. 

[private]: If you want to be prepared, I suggest attending Dueling club. It’s not Umbra, it’s more censored thanks to eyes all over the place, but you’ll learn something, at least.
