[3AM] Captain...! Captain! Are you awake?! I need to talk to you about something important!

A huddled mass of covers started to shift after the yelling started. A few incoherent grumbles came from underneath before a head of mint-green hair peeked out. Glaring at the door, Laika thought for several moments if he should go answer it. Knowing Matvei… he wouldn’t go away. 

More shuffling under covers occurred, as Laika pulled them off the bed and stood up with them wrapped around himself. Still half asleep, he trudged over to the door. He only allowed it to open a sliver, squinting at the bright lights of the hall. 

“…at do you want?” Laika mumbled with a frown.

Jealousy or Hatred? Chapter 2.

Chapter 2. Once the dishes were all washed, dried, and packed away, the two soldiers were soon walking down the long wide halls towards Matvei's apartment where the Private invited the Lieutenant in for some peppermint tea and cookies. Once the hot steaming flavored liquid was in the cups, and the baked treats were set neatly onto the china plates, the handsome young male daintily set the tray down onto the large enough coffee table as the mint-haired young individual thanked him taking the pastry. "You like them don't you? I had gotten the recipe from my Mother when she and I would bake together back at home." "Really? I didn't know you could bake." Laika said quite amazed. "Oh yes, I had taken an interest in it and I also had taken some culinary classes as well. It is my way to calm my nerves and relax after a hard day. I-I hope it doesn't sound to girly not that I'm thinking that way don't get me wrong." He blushed rubbing his neck as the teenaged lieutenant shook his head smiling small but warm. "I don't think it's girly at all. It just shows that you have a unique talent and skill that will definitely stop hunger. You are just being yourself and that's what really matters." A scarlet red hue soon became visible on the Private's cheek as he soon started to become bashful wringing his wrists until air bubbles could be heard. "W-W-Why th-th-thank you Sir. No one has ever said that to me before and you are the first one apart from my Mother to ever say such kind words. "Anything for a friend. I might be what I am, but I'm not indeed cold-hearted like what they picture me as." Laika reminded him who soon nodded. "I see. It's just how you were mostly raised by your Uncle who literally trained you to become who you are today. I just wish that most men and boys were respectful towards their elders like how you are with the General." Laika nodded; what the Private said was indeed true; despite how he had felt towards his relative, he still appreciated and loved him very much Hell, he was the only Family member he had after his parents had passed away when he was still very young at the time and felt like he was all alone in the big empty and miserable world. Although he never showed emotions, and didn't have time for fun and games, he would still take the time to go into his office and ask for much needed assistance, crack jokes (when no one was looking), and simply just be there with him if he was down and depressed. "You're absolutely right Matvei. I do love my Uncle don't get me wrong, but at times I wish he could just get out of his hard exterior; at least he's not like Enzan's father Ijuuin-sama." The soldier shuddered at the thought of the old man back in Akihara. Matvei laughed. Sorry gotta think of more. But here's Chapter 2 take care!

Jealousy or Hatred?

Fandom: Rockman.EXE Stream. Rated: PG-13. For minor Adult Language. Genre: Yaoi, General. Characters: Laika, Iriya, and Matvei aka privatesnowduck Where: The Sharro Military Base Mess Hall. Time: 8:32 p.m. The drumming of slender long fingers could be heard on the polished maple wood tables as Iriya gazed on in secretive anger waiting on his friend Laika to finish cleaning up right after the soldiers had finished eating and had already turned in for the night as well. He rolled his dark sapphire eyes and scoffed silently his gaze fixated not only on the mint green haired soldier/net savior but on one of the new recruits also who went by the name Matvei who had joined in the military 3 weeks prior and had gotten used to being here ever since. Now Iriya wasn't the one to have such childish emotions that had bottled up within him oh no, he was what people called the 'Tough as Nails' type of person that when there was work that needed to be done, he was the first one out of all the soldiers to get the job done and required no nonsense when doing the task at hand; he was also the one that would get the praise and support from all of his comrades and superiors one by one and was not afraid to get destructive and disobey orders when on a mission. But since this new recruiter had signed up to be apart of the Sharro Army, he would start to scowl whenever he was present, growl at the mention of his name, and simply just gaze at him in pure defined rage; especially when Laika was seen with him. Not that he was mad that his two year younger partner had made a new friend, it was the fact that he was spending his time with the other and that part was what really got him off in secret. What in the hell was so great about him why the calculative, and serious soldier was so drawn towards him? was it his platinum blonde hair that shined and bounced with every step that he would take, his eyepatch that had covered one of his eyes? or could it have been his always chirpy, cheery, and positive attitude that would make the others look onto the bright side of things whenever they were in difficult situations? He couldn't quite put his finger on it, but whatever it was, he was becoming more and more angry at him with each passing day plus, he did NOT like him stealing his friend away from him at all! Well, this is my first story with using a fan character that I have never used before in it. I hope you all like this and if it is okay, I am just borrowing Matvei from privatesnowduck for a little bit sorry that I should've asked first but it had been plaguing my mind for 3 days and I just wanted to see how it would turn out. Hope you all likely and tell me what you think bye!
