I find myself melting like snow touched by a scorching hot flame to SNØ’s smooth glowering Day By Day, a track off the Helsinki based artist’s EP, Prologue. He was cloaked in the shadows when he first appeared on IHM over four months ago with Sunrise. We now know he’s won “breakthrough artist of 2017″ via YleX, the Finnish equivalent of BBC. The R&B and hip hop hued pop he regales us with on Day By Day is jagged propulsive, with The Weeknd like molten fire and EDEN like raw intensity.
