every year my club puts on a maid cafe as a fundraiser for charity and we always do a bunch of different dances as part of it and all of the people who're being troublemakers are also new to maid cafe and i have a strong suspicion they've really just never performed in their lives because it's like they don't seem to realize that when you're in a play/musical/dance/choir/performance of any kind, the performance is more important than you are? Like, rehearsals should be fun! but they should be business first, especially early on when NO ONE knows what they're doing at all. And when you have side conversations and goof off and don't put in any effort, you're putting yourself before the performance and you're ruining it for everyone else and it's really selfish and unfair and frustrating
