“Are you sure this is enough?” 

Tapping a gloved finger against her chin, Festivia looked around the newly conjured room Star had added to the Diaz home. It wasn’t like it didn’t come pre furnished or Star couldn’t just cast a spell to summon up what she needed, but even if it was necessary the Queen was a little reluctant to leave her daughter alone on earth.

“I know a good spell for turning the ceiling into a web of constellations, or maybe the soda fountain spell. What do you think?”

Every few years (or decades? The longer she was here the harder it was to tell), Festivia found that there was another Queen of Mewni entering the realm of magic. She really hadn’t done much to keep track of it; after Crescenta had arrived and they had their falling out she figured if anyone wanted to see her they’d seek her out.

This time though, the Queen seemed younger/ Still a teenager, even. Actually... Alive? Was that it? 

:”Oh no, sweetheart you really shouldn’t be here.”

Family bonding! Festivia never got to spend all the time she wanted with her kids and missed out on her grandkids, she’d adore getting to bond with Star. She could teach her more about baking or give advice (either serious or mundane) or just do whatever great x? grandmothers do with great x? grandaughters do 

Angst wise, in the magic dimension I would love to try Festivia’s ghost struggling to get Star to remember and leave before it’s too late. Or else a sober conversation apologizing about how Star feels like they’re “nobodies” because you know, that scene hurt
