Security In A Sticky Way

Besides film (we are shooting on film right?) one of the highest used products on set is tape. Gaffer's tape. The tape of the Gaffer. In visual effects (VFX) we run through the stuff pasting it to every blue and green screen which passes our way. 

Now it's not my choice which tape is purchased but it just so happened we went with PRO-GAFF. And there is something special about PRO-GAFF: 

Can you see it? Can you tell? 

I keep two rolls on my person at all times. It's the jam type tape. The one and only.

Sticky Situation

The precise origin of the name is unknown, one theory being that it is named for the gaffer (chief lighting technician) on a film crew. When cables are taped down on a stage or other surface, either to prevent tripping hazards or conceal them from view of the audience or camera, they are said to be gaffed or gaffered. - WIKIPEDIA
