I’m a sucker for skelebros angst conflict scenarios where they get into an argument. And yknow Papyrus is pretty strong, he may even be the strongest monster in the underground. Sans is the easiest enemy, the weakest monster. 1hp all the time, has 1 def. Still scary. Still frail.

And yknow how Debbie in Invincible like tries and punches Nolan’s chest in the confrontation scene where he’s trying to make amends but It ends up just breaking her wrist because he’s too durable.

So I love to just imagine in whatever angst conflict these two may get into, Sans tries pushing Papyrus or like angrily shoves his finger on his chest, and his lil bro doesn’t move an inch. Doesn’t budge. But it still hurts.

This initially came from one chapter of Flowey Is Not A Good Life Coach where whenever Sans tries to pull Papyrus’ arm to get him to stand up, he’s not actually doing any significant force and Papyrus just stands up on his own.

Like if these two got in a SERIOUS GRR fight (on sans’ side), I highly doubt he would do any real damage other than letting out his frustrations with measly punches that do barely anything. Especially since Papyrus can’t be affected by karma, his hands are bloodless, both figuratively and literally.

The punches physically feel like nothing. But he could feel every hit to his emotions.

It would be quite angsty and I actually feel happy thinking about it.

Anyway just a thought.
