Why do people hate otherkin so much? Like I thought it was a religious/spiritual belief (I'm not otherkin though so I could be wrong).

Aren't you supposed to...NOT mock people for their religion?

Like if someone told you that they believe in reincarnation, you wouldn't mock them, right? But like a lot of otherkin believe in that and it's ok to mock them? That makes no sense.

tl,dr: let people have their own beliefs, please. (as long as they aren't hurting anybody. otherkin don't harm others by being otherkin.)
