          As he slaps her hand away, she pouts. How was she supposed to know? Even still, just to be smarter and a little more conscious, she places her hands in her pockets this time. Better not try to touch anything, lest she get her hand slapped again.

         “Ya know ya coulda jus’ told me. Wasn’ like I was gonna mess up yer formation.” She just wanted to see what other units he had in the back!

Momo dropped her controller in awe, strobe lights and 8bit victory music drawing her attention to a neighboring screen. ❝ WHOA! No way! ❞ She's leaning over the boy beside her now, fully engrossed by the machine's boisterous declaration of his ( rather high-ranked ) victory. ❝ How'd you manage that!? ❞

"I   assure   you   ...   my   ears   are   real....   if   that's   what   you   were   wondering?"   Frieren   was   aware   Elves   were   quite   the   rare   species   ...   but   she   hadn't   anticipated   just   how   shocked   humans   would   be   to   see   her.

She   supposed   keeping   to   herself   for   so   long   didn't   help   matters   -   ...   before   the   mage   knew   it   ....   surroundings   she   once   they   were   gone   ...   replaced   with   complete   unfamiliarity.....

"  ---  OH  MY  GOD."  She  was  speaking  loudly  for  a  moment.  Sure,  every  time  she  played  games  with  him,  she  stood  no  chance  of  winning.  He  was  really  good  at  video  games,  and  personally,  she  always  enjoyed  playing  games  with  him  (  even  if  she  lost  every  time.)  Hell,  just  being  able  to  play  with  him  right  now  was  like  a  dream.  (even  though  they  did  it  a  lot.).  Her  eyes  watched  him  as  he  turned  off  the  switch,  and  she  pouted,  but  understood  what  this  was  going  to  be.  "I'm  going  to  get  better  at  it,  you  will  see!"  a  small  laugh  from  her  lips.  "Besides,  these  games  you  play  all  the  time,  I'm  more  into  ---  other  games."

                     her  focus  was  on  the  computer  screen  in  front  of  her  as  she  sat  down  at  the  computer  desk.   she  had  used  a  computer  many  times,  and  knew  her  way  around  them  rather  well   –   but  playing  games  on  them  was  a  completely  different  affair  than  using  them  for  coursework  and  taking  notes.   she  had  pulled  up  a  small  notepad  on  the  side  of  the  screen,  so  that  she  could  type  to  him  while  he  helped  her  get  started.   «  oushi-kun  said  that  you  are  very  good  at  playing  games.  »   she  typed  while  the  game  loaded  on  the  computer's  screen.   she  only  hoped  that  she  didn't  embarrass  herself  with  her  inexperience.   the  thing  that  had  originally  stopped  her  from  reaching  out  to  him  about  games  was  whether  she  would  be  a  burden  or  not.   it  was  only  after  trying  to  reassure  herself  that  she  managed  to  finally  ask.   she  was  excited,  and  yet  so  nervous  all  at  the  same  time.

            she  tapped  at  the  keyboard  one  more  time  to  type  onto  the  little  notepad  on  the  screen.   «  i  can  do  the  character  creation  myself,  but  do  you  have  any  tips  ?   if  not,  i'll  let  you  know  when  i  am  finished.  »   yuki's  head  turned  to  look  at  him,  waiting  for  a  response  from  him  before  she  would  actually  start  making  a  character.   she  had  briefly  looked  over  things  on  her  phone   –   tips,  and  advice   ..   but  she  wanted  to  make  sure  there  wasn't  anything  else  she  should  be  aware  of.   that  is  to  say,  she  was  placing  all  of  her  trust  in  him  !

                     «  i  don't  know  yamada-kun  very  well,  but  he  is  an  acquaintance  of  oushi-kun,  so  i  trust  him.  »   her  and  oushi  weren't  particularly  close,  but  she  liked  to  think  that  he  was  careful  about  the  people  he  hung  around,  whther  friends  or  acquaintances.   «  i  notice  some  girls  stare  at  him,  and  i  can  imagine  that  would  be  unnerving.  »   for  that  same  fact,  she  tried  not  to  stare  at  him  unless  she  was  trying  to  communicate.   she  couldn't  blame  anyone  for  staring,  but  ..   « he  isn't  very  expressive,  so  he  can  be  a  little  confusing  and  hard  to  read,  but  i'm  hoping  i'll  be  able  to  better  understand  him  as  i  get  to  know  him.   he  seems  well  meaning,  but  very  quiet.  »

                okay,  so   ..   i'm  one  episode  short  of  finishing  the  anime  and  then  i  have  to  start  on  the  manga   –   but  hoo   ..   i  have  a  few  ideas  i  could  run  between  these  two  as  to  how  they  could  meet  and  we  could  go  from  there  ?? even  if  they  might  be  basic  or  bare  bones  ideas.   (   i.e.,  either  knowing  each  other  through  mutual  friends,  locations,  or  depending  on  the  timeline–   even  through  university  or  something  ??   i  just   ..   actually  have  a  few  thoughts  i  could  share  for  them  to  have  met  that  i  was  thinking  about  while  watching.   ) 

                  i  now  understand  how  you  were  mentioning  the  contrast  between  their  personalities  when  you  im'ed  me.   yuki  is  a  rather  positive  individual,  and  incredibly  vibrant  while  still  being  bashful  and  polite  in  how  she  regards  and  treats  others  ?   that,  and  she's  rather  transparent  and  open  but  not  to  a  worrisome  point  ??   while  akito  is  clearly  much,  much  more  subdued,  introverted,  and  mysterious.

                  like,  i'm  honestly  super  open  to  any  of  the  options,  whichever  way  they  turn  out  ?   because  with  how  they  both  are,  it  is  hard  to  tell  where  things  may  fall  or  could  fall.
