Do you ever wonder which inside out emotion is the leader of all your other emotions?

i wonder if men think that if they can't subject women to being property that they will become property themselves. as if releasing the cage enclosed around women would put it around men as a result. if this is true, i wonder why men think that freedom can only be had if its taken away. why would anyone think that independence only comes without having anyone to make you dependent?
