how i deal with the Thoughts
So I'm not suicidal or anything, btw, it is merely the intrusive thoughts being annoying (see. train tracks, amazing high cliffs) but this is my thought process when one arrives (sharing for no good reason I am merely bored)
1- blame the wolf. This is not an actual wolf, this is my good friend who has a wolfish name. He introduced me to the concept of intrusive thoughts two or so years ago, and since I have blamed every intrusive thought I've had on him- example a, thought comes in saying 'imagine jumping off that cliff wouldn't it feel like flying you should try it'. My response 'damn you [friend's name]'/'bother you [friend's name]'/'what would [friend's name] say'- surprisingly, it works. now this need not be any friend in particular, you may pick at random. (no, he doesn't know i do this)
2- if they're being really really annoying, answer thus: 'death may well be the next great adventure, but I'm not done with this one yet. Haven't completed the present mission. Still got more coins and stars to get and princesses to save [insert video game reference of your choosing]. Remind me again in 70 or so years.'
