HEADCANON: warren doesn’t necessary need to believe in someone’s vision to follow them. sometimes it’s enough for him to feel thankful towards then and that he has to return the favour. taking apocalypse for example. there was a dislike towards humans, he was angry, fighting became a habit for him with all those cage fights. apocalypse came and gave him his wings back and made him even stronger than he already was so he did feel he had to return this with his dedication to him aka accepting him as god. he has also a short temper which means logical thinking is often not the case. he’ll let his anger lead him and forgiving and understanding for others is also one of the qualities he lacks of.
