welp. was trying to get livestream to work, but i may jump ship and find another platform. couldn’t get the program’s chat feature to work, so i sent in a ticket. the response was basically that they know it doesn’t work but that they won’t fix it ever:

not sure what other method of livestreaming the site expects us to use if not procaster (i mean, if it’s a ‘legacy’ platform that implies that something else has taken over).

just wanted to put this out there because i saw many people with the same problem as i hunted down solutions. basically the answer is that there is no answer.

Livestream Procaster is such a shit... It’s like, it was programmed by an ape, with a stick and a rock. It freezes, it crashes, it doesn't let me stream. I have to keep trying to start it for like an HOUR, when I could’ve DRAW already for said hour. You know what? Your fancy fucking design is NOTHING if it doesn't work, and doesn't lets you further than a fucking “oh, I’m loading some shit” screen. You can shove your cool red button with beautiful black bars, UP YOUR ASS. Because THAT’S WHERE IT BELONGS!!!! Why the fuck it keeps freezing??? FIX YOUR STUPID SHITTY PROGRAMM, LIVESTREAM!

Livestream Procaster Chat Issues?

Hey, hoping that someone else might have this issue AND have solved it, because I keep seeing people talking about having it and then they either solve it and don’t say HOW or they just do something awkward and inconvenient.  My Google powers fail me.

SO, I just got a new laptop with Windows 10, and had previously been using a laptop from 2008 with Windows 7.  Everything works on my Windows 7 PC, but I’m having this issue on my Windows 10 one, and I don’t know what is actually causing the issue.  The Procaster’s chat tab (and all the others, actually, but this is the one really want) just has “This feature requires Adobe Flash to be installed in the Procaster built-in browser. Click here to install”  in it, and when I click, it asks me to restart the Procaster, but nothing happens when I do so.  The message is still there, it’s just an endless cycle.

Chrome says Flash is up to date, I don’t know where to find a built in Procaster browser to even try this and when I copy the link that that text up there all points to?  I just get this:  DOWNLOADFLASHINPROCASTER 

Super encouraging.

ALTERNATELY, does anyone know of another piece of software that will let me stream AND give me the little chat window at the same time?  I want to stream, but I need to see what people are saying and don’t want to have to have my actual channel open in a window behind everything.

= w =;;; How the fuck does livestream work without good ol’ procaster? I can’t make heads or tails of this in browser stream, or the studio thing.  I want to use Picarto qwq but OBS wont pick up my canvas screen in my animation programme... sigh.
