Cold Dark Matter: An Exploded View 1991
An interesting and meaningful piece which has been light solely using one lightbulb. This is the contents of an exploded garden shed, what remained was used to hang from the ceiling and projected onto the walls that surround it. A room full immersed by a single art form.

I came across an artist called Li Hongbo who specialises in fascinating intricate paper sculptures. He creates these structures in a way that is utterly mind bending - almost alienating as what we witness within his work doesn't seem physically possible. Each of his pieces are made solely from paper and glue, they are flexible and reveal a beautiful honeycomb-like structure when stretched out. I could watch his work for hours. Mesmerised.

As part of process and enquiry time base piece, i though why not show the process of these face blobs
It shows the process of selecting sections of people’s faces, taking them and putting them together. I’d like to develop it and add sound and maybe more blobs

3D Sculpture Work Development
As part of my 3D work i wanted to start a sculpture with a collection of features. I started of with repurposing clay already sitting there, i broke off and put in a bucket of water, i had to wait a week for it to be useable, but while that was happening i started the sculpture of with a base of wire and air drying clay, after it dried i started moulding the clay into features filled with eyes, noises, lips and ears. I was wanting to take this further and be able to cast and make multiple, but with talking to Allan I’m going to try a different process
