Writing update
So, grad school is out for the summer. I'm still not entirely sure if I passed a class. My final projects were good, and honestly, I think I would have gotten A's on them had they been for any other class, but I just don't know about this one professor. For example, we had to turn in rough draft of our papers, and he corrected my grammar on a note to myself. Literally, I had written a note to myself about how to expand a certain section, and put it in a different text color and everything, and he took the time to inform me that etc. must always have a period after it. So... yeah, still waiting nervously for my grades. It doesn't help that its a core class, so I have to get at least a B in it, or guess who gets to take it all over again?
I had thought I'd use this week to catch up on a bunch of things, like cleaning and writing, but instead I find myself in a strange, numbed out daze, where I stare off into the distance and think of all the things I could be doing and do none of them. I think I've been so busy this past year, jumping from crisis to crisis, that I haven't really had the chance to process everything.
Do the rest of you feel like you've processed this past year? Or is it just now catching up to you too?
So, I let myself crash for a couple of days, and today I finally opened up the document that has my next chapter on it. I believe I can get it up sometime next week. I will update again once I get a feel for how long it will take.
Anyways, I want to get back to at least an every other week update schedule now that I have a break from school. Ideally, it'd be even sooner than that, but we'll see how it goes.
