Yk when you find a film camera at a thrift store so you take some pics and do some research and really start to have appreciation for film photography, especially the more controversial and provocative side of the art, so you start getting weird with it and submerg your unprocessed film in various chemicals and liquids and you obviously know to contact your film lab to clarify so they don’t damage their chemicals and they it’s ok and then you start dating someone who really loves you and is cool with you taking pics of y’all fully fucking and you’re smart and cool so you email your lab to double check that they’re ok with damaged film and “lued” photos then they CALL you 5 mins later freaking out asking you not to damage your film with anything but water (they’ve already processed multiple rolls of film submerged in anything but water) and to “steer clear” of sending in any photos of sexual acts (that’s exactly what the photos are of) but they don’t know your sitting in the parking lot so you lie outta your ass and leave to go shoot another roll of film with lued photos (they said they were ok with nudity) and submerge it in water (boiled and frozen and boiled again so hopefully they still look cool) to send in THAT roll and not look suspicious so now you have a roll of very damaged film that includes images of penetration and you really wanna see it but you don’t want to traumatize or endanger any professional film processors. Anyway, does anyone have a cool artsy lesbian aunt with a darkroom in her lake house?

Ilford Lab process black and white prints from film and digital files to real silver gelatin photographic paper

I came across this for photographers who want to shoot black & white film but do not want to process it. Ilford labs will do this for you. Do remember they are processing your film to the standard times of the film stock by Ilford. I suggest you shoot a grey chart first. To be perfect I would shoot a grey chart every time you change lighting. If you dont set you film camera up to the zone system. Camera, film stock, lens, lighting, you don't know how close you are to the reality of the processed film. One of my cameras back in the late 1970's was really off. My Nikon with a normal 50mm lens using tri-x film was off a stop. Instead of shooting at 400 I shot at 200 to give it the proper exposure. I suggest a grey card or tone chart on the head of the roll of film you are shooting. They will take a reading off of the first shot and print from this. Good Luck ENJOY!
