was it wrong for her to give into her hearts desires? time and time again she finds herself questioning it. she was strong, determined and at the top of her game. it doesn’t matter now, qi’ra shouldn’t be bothering with such trivial things. the thought flees her mind the moment she senses her guest entering her office. the wine in her hand rises to meet her lips and she takes a sip, not paying him any mind as she looks out of the yachts guarded windows as they rushed through the corridor of hyperspace. the chilled liquid slides down her throat with ease as she listens to his footsteps close the distance between the two.
qi’ra lowers the glass from her lips just a bit, curiosity rushes over her, and she drops her eyes from the rushing of space to the floor. her first thought was that he was there to end her but despite their differences, that seemed hard to believe. she remains silent, head moving so that she may glance over her shoulder but her eyes don’t follow. - she lowers the glass in her hands to her waist, her free hand coming up to support the bottom of the cup as she feels him stop merely inches from her. qi’ra looks back to the windows once more, chin held high. “ is there something i can assist you with? ” she says it quietly, just barely above a whisper. no need speaking so loud when the other person was right there, breathing down her neck and leaving chills down her spine.
qi’ra tries not to appear too tense, but to say she wasn’t would be a blatant lie. that is until she felt one of his hands cup her arm, the other moving strands of her hair to the side so that the skin of the area where her neck and shoulder met with a curve was exposed. - qi’ra shut her eyes, trying to prepare herself for what his next move might be. she tilted her head to allow him any access he might wish for, while not trying to seem so... eager.
