He’s hesitant. Despite already confessing to Hiro long ago, he still found it hard to get the words past his lips. He held Hiro in his lap, pulling him closer to his chest as he placed a kiss to his fluff of hair, sighing into it.
“There’s so many reasons as to why I love you Hiro. For starters, you’re my baby brother, and I love you so much just for that reason alone…But as for more than that…There’s nothing. You’re a brat, a sassy brat, and you’re just my personal teddy bear to cuddle.”
And cue boisterous laughter from the elder Hamada, locking his arms to keep Hiro from possibly leaving in a pout.
“No, I’m kidding, really! There’s a lot to love you for, you’re smart, adorable, sassy as hell but.. I know for sure you care deeply for people who matter to you, and show compassion to those who’re new to you. You have bumps in the road, but you never really let that stop you. Even when you’re afraid, you try to tough it out. You’re very brave Hiro, and so amazing, and sometimes I get annoyed because you don’t even see it in yourself at times. But I do. And that’s why I love you….And all the more reason why I fell in love with you darling.”
