I have recently discovered that I actually don't have a single clue about how to study. I listen in class, rewrite and read my notes but I don't know how actual learning works. I guess that's why I'm always just average no matter how much I "study".

to be quite I honest, I don’t either. I know what methods help me, but I don’t know why and I don’t know what helps others.

so far it seems like you’re doing well - you pay attention in class and actually put in the effort to review the content!
