Okay I've been trying to get this out of my head... But this is what happens when you put a dyscalculic AuADHD person on filing tax returns for two days straight My mind wanders. And next thing you know I'm thinking, 'I wonder if a horribly notorious woman hater and serial killer, Ed Kemper has seen the Barbie movie?'

And then I'm like... 'would Ed Kemper watch the Barbie movie recreationaly, probably not. But the real question is would watching it kill him?'

And I think it would.

I honestly believe that if you showed him the Barbie movie that man would keel over and die within the first 10 minutes. The opening sequence alone should be enough but if he does hold on, 'I'm just Ken.' would induce a heart attack.

But if anyone is in the BAU for real, you could make this happen. You could legitimately make gynophobic misogynistic serial killers watch the Barbie movie for science. Ed Kemper himself did request the death penalty and requested death by torture. So he might even be down to watch it if people convinced him he could actually die watching it.

Also side note what is with so many serial killers being named Ed?

Man, so much, but I had to pick one thing. I would change the moment I started to fear doing things. I remember I just used to do things as a kid. I used to climb trees, I use to swim in the ocean, I used to ask people things and talk to strangers with no problems. At some point, that changed and I can remember the exact day, because it was the first time I can remember having a meltdown (9 y.o). I refused to go in the ocean because I was afraid, but I can't remember why and what changed. My parents noticed immediately, it was like switch was flipped and fear entered into my life and changed me. Since that day, I am anxious doing things that are adventurous or I have this fear of getting into trouble or hurt. I would change that. It has really limited my life.

So I just been listening to some true crime podcasts and found out that some serious crimes in America in some states have statutes of limitations. I thought man that's so wild. What the hell? And then I just saw an American comment on a post about an episode of Harrow an Australian crime drama (one of my favourites). In where a victim of a S.A. over 20 years ago gets justice against her attacker. And this person from the US commented saying how unrealistic this show was because that wouldn't happen.... WTF? THAT DOES HAPPEN IT'S NOT UNREALISTIC. That's the law in Australia!

The fact that you can get away with stuff because of a time limit is such a foreign concept to me. So in Australia we have three types of crime and each type has a different court:

summary offenses (like DUI and public nuisance) you don't have to go to court for these unless you want to contest your fine. These have a statute of limitation of two years.

Then indictable offenses: crimes you can go to jail for.

Minor indictable: theft, serious trespass, assault, stalking, causing harm, fraud. ect

Major indictable: murder, S.A., armed robber ect.

ALL INDICTABLE OFFENSES DO NOT HAVE A STATUTE OF LIMITATION.

What the hell? It makes me so sad. Why would you legislate for people to get away with FELONIES? The case I listened to had a serial killer who possibly could have gone to prison earlier on the charge of aggravated assault and attempted murder and saved the lives of five women if the statue of limitations was longer than 1 fucking year! The crime was reported the day of! they just couldn't figure out who the attacker was for 10 months and when they did and they picked him from a line up they couldn't charge him because a statute of limitation would pass before the court date! What the hell?
