Déjà Boo? ;; ‹Gummy & Leo›
Hours seemed to transform into fleeting minutes every time Gummy so much as took one step into Hogsmeade. There was honestly something so effortlessly captivating about the quaint little village -- maybe it was the whiff of butterscotch she inhaled after so much as passing by The Three Broomsticks, or the bright, vibrant and moving Zonko's displays she caught from the corner of her eye, or even the scenery, that had seemingly been snatched right out of a holiday postcard... The shops made it excruciatingly difficult to get anything that she actually needed; usually she'd end up with a multitude of shopping bags holding items that she'd conveniently labelled "Christmas and Birthday Presents." But on that day she was being good. She'd only gotten a few items here and there (and they all fit into one shopping bag), her purse was still clanging and clattering full of change which was a good sign.
Wearing a small smile she pushed the glass door of the ice-cream parlour open, deciding to treat herself and feeling a little nostalgic. It had been a while since she visited Fortescue's. Perhaps too long. The string of memories attached to the place was a little too extensive for her liking, so she usually avoided it.
After approaching the counter, she looked up at the ice-cream menu, not noticing the figure beside her, too engrossed in the various options. She didn't know why she still examined the list -- she was gonna end up picking the same flavour anyway.
"Can I take your order?"
"One Creamy Cappuccino Crunch please," she chimed... In unison with the stranger beside her...?
