R.O.B. is back in Mario Kart World since the DS days, but not in the way you'd expect! Turns out instead of being a playable character, he's now a RIDEABLE bike. Talk about bittersweet... Anyways, have some fanart with a "The Godfather" reference, featuring the professor(s) from the NES games Gyromite/Stack-Up!

(I should mention that in this AU, the events of Subspace Emissary and World Of Light never happened, so dw, R.O.B does NOT have survivors guilt and a biblically accurate angel didn't slime anybody)

So a friend of mine on Discord gave me this idea that in Retro Magic Cure, Professor Hector would kinda be like a father figure to R.O.B. (Hector's also the one who built him in this) aaand would be on him about the whole secret magical girl identity, and the concept of Hector being a father figure to R.O.B. was cute to me and therefore I got the inspo to make this comik (also yes it is based off that one scene from Sailor Moon where Usagi wakes up)

Pit: Lady Palutena, this guy just made a little Mini-R.O.B.! Palutena: Oh, that must be Professor Hector! He actually created R.O.B., you know, along with his assistant, Professor Vector. He's also got a bit of a sleepwalking problem. Pit: Wait, so HE invented R.O.B.? Do… Do you think he knows about… Palutena: Almost certainly, Pit. Pit: Oh man… That really does explain that mean look he's been giving us Subspace veterans. Should I tell him that was all Ganondorf's fault? Viridi: Wait, what happened during Subspace? Palutena: I don't think it'll affect you all that much, Viridi. It's Pit who has to put up with Professor Hector's attacks. Luckily, the Mini-R.O.B.s are being made on the spot, so they can't really do much besides patrol the area.

Somewhere in a governmental area, lies the facility. Many buildings full of horrid wonders, full of what used to be citizens... now being looked after by what sanity is left of every worker.

There are a few prevalent people who play major roles in the facility, even if they are just simply meek professors with complicated jobs. But this is what they wanted... right?

The horrors don’t bother them... they shouldn’t anyways. But everyone is human, don’t they have emotions? Are they allowed to even feel? They are surely aware of their job trauma, such as one particular person, Professor Hector.

He dealt with stuff no sane worker should have. He nearly lost everything. He thought he lost lives. It was difficult for him not to penetrate his emotions into his documents, though he can slip in some hints of what incidents had happened without notice.

“I am the professor of ‘The Shadow Project.’ An experiment dedicated to psychological effects. How the shadow fluids effect one’s mind and body. Everyone is different, even if barely. This project is relatively harmless after the experimental procedure. The subject’s body will be black, white, and maybe a few shades of grey. There is another section of The Shadow Project that exists, but it is not my behalf to speak on it as it not mine. For further information, forward to Professor Lexi. She deals with the more complicated procedures of these ‘different’ shadows. I am only responsible to look after the current subjects I have in my laboratory.
