     A whole stack of ungraded papers, a solitary corner in the staff break room, mostly silence, a full cup of coffee, and thirty five free minutes. Blue pen to paper, eyes scanning as quickly as possible BUT- not quick enough to miss anything that could be wrong with the work. Biological foot bouncing away, take a long drink of coffee, take in a breath and-- why is everything suddenly darker? The poor man looks up, jumping and quickly adjusting his glasses.

“ O-oh Mr. Rutledge! I- uhm- did you need something?   You haven’t been trying to get my attention have you?   My apologies I was uh-- really focused... ”

     The professor stopped short on his way to his lunch break, having just got out of a rather rambunctious class who tended to harass him for his odd appearance and robotic limbs. They may be college students, but he swears their still children. He grips his cane when he almost runs into the taller man, swallowing as he adjusts his glasses, having been focused on the papers in his hands, unorganized and scattered.

“ O-oh! Headmaster Wilhelm... Sorry, I didn’t   mean to almost run into you! I-I haven’t had   my coffee today, haha... ”
