Introduce Yourself

I am Professor T. I began my career in education as a high school teacher. I did that for three years before accepting the fact that I could be more effective in post-secondary education. So, I enrolled in graduate school in 2016 to make that transition. After graduation, I worked as a part-time tutor at the North Harris Campus Writing Center. (Some of you may be familiar with me in this capacity). Since then, I have worked professionally for the past year as an English Adjunct Professor at Lone Star College. In another life (prior to my role as an educator), I worked several years for a public library in Houston.

When I am not working, I enjoy watching horror and romantic-comedy films (which can also be horrifying), spending time outdoors in nature, spending time with my immediate family (no I don’t have kids), taking road trips, and reading whatever interests me. My ultimate purpose in life is to create a peaceful mind for the betterment of the world and to complete at least one of my screenplays.
