I am really glad that the PB discord connected me with NotFunnyDean. I didn’t know their artwork before they joined and I’m pretty sure they had never heard of me before either, but now I’m proud to call them my friend. I am in love with their art and am so proud of them for all that they have accomplished!

Dear Crypto: 

 I haven't been around since the beginning, so I have no idea how the process of making the Profound Bond discord went. How much of it was just you fussing around with an idea, how much of it was the group of awesome people you chose to help you, and how much was pure trial and error. The end result, however, is that a unique environment focused on good faith, friendship, and kindness was created, and over the next two years, several hundred people's lives changed for the better. 

 Whatever the impetus for the server's creation, I am grateful it happened. Profound has given me a sense of purpose, a family, and inspiration to keep going when things get rough. It's shown me that fandom (and leadership) can be good and wholesome, and that it's okay to trust. These things don't come easily to me, so to have them delivered to me so smoothly and with such kindness, reinforced time and again by your specific guidance, is some sort of small miracle. 

 So...I just wanted to say thank you, for everything I just said and our friendship besides, and I really hope this year brings you joy and light.
