i love ian to death but i still believe he's really problematic. i know his nickname is n-word f-slur was bc a guy shitted on him and called him that but not everyone knows it's use is ironic. some people genuinely believes that idubbbez is an exact representation of ian rather than a satirical and over-dramatised character he plays. his recent tana vid said it's all about context, but he still insults his friends by using terms like "gay" & f-slur. :/
you need to remember he doesn’t mean it in a rude way. in Australia, we call our friends ‘cunts’ like “g’day cunt” we don’t mean in it in a way that says they are assholes or that we hate them. It’s the same with Ian. he over uses those words to make it seem like they don’t even have a meaning anymore. he doesn’t mean it in a rude way. and if people don’t recognise that they need to educate themselves.
