I don’t even know where to begin with you, so much shit happened within a year that I can’t really wrap my head around it. It’s funny and I probably never said this to you but I was only going to be staying in Seoul for a year before going back to the states but after I met you and the others, I knew I had to stay and stick around with y’all.
Our friendship was a fucking roller coaster but despite what happened, I still care a lot about you. I don’t know how you managed to get me to become attached to you and so quickly I might add. Even though we didn’t exactly start off as friends right away, I’m glad that I was able to get to know you.
We’ve all got our demons, I know and I know I never really said any of this to you but watching you spiral, it was heart breaking. I hated to see what you did and the after effects of it. I hated seeing how stand offish you had become with the others and even though I stood up for you, I still didn’t agree 100% with it. I supported you because I knew you need someone to lean on and I refused to let you down.
You honestly are one of my best friends and it hurts just thinking about everything I could’ve probably done to help you. Sometimes I feel like I let you down. You probably wouldn’t have let me but I would’ve still liked the chance.
I’m not going to dwell on all the bad that happen because we did have a lot of good memories and did have a lot of fun together. You know, sometimes I can’t help but crack up when I pass the SNU library and some of the other places remembering all the stupid shit we did around the campus. We were really lucky no one ever caught us otherwise both our asses would’ve been expelled.
Kade, bebé lindo, thank you so much for all the wonderful memories and thank you for being in my life. Thank you for showing me how to love myself and how to not give a shit about what others might think. she never claimed to be the best at reading people but there was definitely something about him that bothered her. maybe she was imaging things but she could’ve sworn she’d seen a pained look on his face a couple of times, his eyes looking tired and sad. of course she knew better than to make assumptions but she didn’t exactly know how to bring it up. that was if there was even anything to bring up.
