Placing the shadow layer over the color layer, I added a red filter to the background so that the light emanating from the lantern made sense. Next I put another red filter over the Apothecarist (at this point I had already put placeholder shadows on her) and am now looking into adding in some green accents in the shadows to complement the red lighting.
