Today's progressive Dem is in Tennessee, a state currently being hauled into the dark ages by a handful of Republican shitheads.

Michaela Barnett is a civil engineer who is fighting for the rights and well being of the people in East Tennessee (District 2)

Tennessee candidates really need the support. If you live in Tenn and are in District 2, please look up Michaela and the other Dems in the running if you haven't yet. Lots of bright young things who hate this bs and wanna help people.

Do you live in District 39 in Kansas?

Wanna run for office? District 39 is considered Flippable by political experts, but there is no one running against the incumbent there, Angela Stiens.

The deadline to file is June 1st, but if you contact @6degreesofactivism on instagram, they are ready to go to help someone suitable. You can also get support from Run For Something and orgs like Boots on the Ground Midwest

District 39 includes parts of Shawnee, Bonner Springs, and Lake Quivura!

Today's Progressive Dem, endorsed by Bernie Sanders, is Randy Villegas, running in a swing district, California's 22nd.

Currently that district is Republican, but Dems are trying to swing it blue. And corporate pacs are backing this candidate's dem opponent, Baines, who is a little more agreeable to them, I guess.

Randy Villegas is facing millions in corporate pac ads against him, and we are two weeks from the CA primary. If you live in CA-22, check him out.

Today's candidate is Saikat Chakrabarti!

(He might actually be a socialist, but my tag here for these posts is progressive dems so)

Saikat is running for California District 11, to represent San Francisco in the House of Representatives. He used to work for AOC. He is NOT the candidate endorsed by Nancy Pelosi (lol) and he has no corporate donors.

The California primary is in June, where is facing off against... Wiener, I think? The one Pelosi did endorse. Who has a whole host of corporate donors.

Today's Progressive of the day is Effie Guadalupe Phillips-Staley!

She is running for New York House District 17, against liar and piece of shit Mike Lawler.

(Mike Lawler, who famously promised not to vote for the Big Beautiful Bill--and then did. He also seems willing to vote to make us pay for that bullshit ballroom.)

Effie is a progressive endorsed by the Working Families Party. She's made statements supporting impeachment and against the Iran War, does not receive AIPAC money, and does not nearly have the financial backing of Lawler and the Republican party.

Maybe give her a follow or some financial support. Her primary is in June!
