Progress Live, you will be missed..
I'm sad it's all over, but I've got amazing memories from my show.. I'm gonna post this so it will be forever on my blog and someday when I'm 85 and in a retirement home I can look back and remember my first Take That show. I got to see the 2nd Dublin show in Croke Park and it was seriously one of the best nights evereverever! So in honour of the Progress Live tour, here's some random bits from the day I seen Take That... • The day started off an absolute disaster with me forgetting my huge banner for Jason, which I spent aaaages making and it was like my passport to Jasonnoticingme land.. Then we went and missed the bus and had to get the later one so I said bye bye to front row... • My mumzy queued with me for 6 hours and she wasn't even going in to see them and I love her for it :) • I miraculously found paper on the bus to Dublin and was able to make a much smaller version of my original banner for Jason :) • One of the most stressful times of my life was while we were being escorted into the stadium • I got front row at the exact spot I wanted and I almost cried. (lol jk, I was a mess) • I met some really amazing people there and I'm so sorry for not getting their names & numbers to keep in touch. :( • I loved how the stewards looking after us at b-stage were hilarious & kept us entertained while waiting. • I felt awkward while the Pet Shop Boys were on cause I had never heard of them of any of their songs lol • The weather was shit that day, but literally, the second before Take That came on-stage the sun started shining :) • The excitement I felt when the countdown timer started was just- my tummy was in knots and I wanted to get sick, in a good way.. • One of the most amazing moments was when I heard the first notes of Greatest Day and they all started running down towards b-stage. • Mark Owen looked me in the eyes, nodded and smiled then mouthed "hello" after I waved at him. And I was completely not expecting it haha • Gary Barlow held my hand. It was funny cause Jason & him came down and Jason went off the other way so I was hung over the barrier not paying attention to anything but him, next thing Gary comes up on my left and grabs my hand. Aww • The only thing I remember from 'Shine' is balloons and the image of Mark riding a giant caterpillar. • Jason did that thing where he stops and does the "you wanna take a picture of me?" pose, while looking at me, but my camera wasn't even on so we just ended up staring at each other for ages.. Well it was probably only 3 seconds but yeah, his eyes are amazing! • I enjoyed Robbie's solo set waywaywaywayway more than I thought I would. So I'm a Robbie Williams fan now! :) • Seeing Jason Orange spin on his head right in front of me is one of the coolest things I've witnessed ever! • One of my favourite parts was when they broke into Relight my Fire from No Regrets and they were all bouncing around in a circle, it was one of the videos I hadn't watched on YouTube, so I was all surprised and stuff!
• Jason pointed and smiled at my banner during 'Never Forget' :')
• During Relight My Fire I was doing the dance moves with them and Gary was looking at me smiling, all those hours watching the dvd's paid off haha. • I high 5'd Howard when he was walking back to main stage for the last song • I was a bit gutted that I didnt get to shake Jason's hand but then he came down at our side during Eight Letters and omgwow. He held my hand and i was like "love you" then he said "thank you, love you too" & looked down at my banner then looked back up at me with the biggest smile and it was absolutely amazeballs! :) • Singing 'Take That and Party' with randomers in the streets of Dublin at midnight was one of the best parts of the night!
Remembering Progress Live
*Reblog and add your favourite memories from Progress Live* I have loads, but my favourite was getting a huge smile and "love you too" from Jason while holding his hand in Dublin. :)
