I’m having a tough time with things right now and social media is not helping anything. I need to take a break for my own mental health and to stop myself from engaging in some harmful behaviors.
I don’t have a hard timeline set, life doesn’t work that way, but I’m planning on starting for a week and then see how I feel. I’m sure I’ll miss a few things here and there, but since I won’t know about it, I won’t be too upset.
I just deleted ig, sc, Twitter, and a few others off my phone. There are some things/people that I’ll miss, but they’ll be there when I come back and if they need to get in touch, they can figure it out.
I want to focus on some writing so a few things might pop up now and then on tumblr, but that’s for the purposes of creating content, not seeing other people’s posts.
