vroooooooooooooooooooooo tell me abt your game
Well here we go!
The game currently doesn't have a name (maybe y'all can help?) But I'll call it PROJECT DREAMWALKER for now.
The game focuses on the protagonist, Nilla (I'll explain why I'm using ocs for this later) and other characters exploring a Dreamworld plagued with nightmares. It's her job to get rid of them.
THE WORLD
The world is the Dream Plane, a world accessable by most people, that can only be visited by (you guessed it) sleeping. Of course people who have nightmares will spawn nightmares in the world. Sounds like a huge problem right? Not exactly.
Every generation there are several children chosen to fend the nightmares off so they don't take over. This time however, the previous generation completely failed, half of them being corrupted and the other half dying, ending up dying in their sleep from the event. Without anyone to defend it, the Dream Plane ended up getting infested with these monsters.
Of course, this means the next generation has to come a little early. While usually the kids are around 14-18, this time they're anywhere from 8 to 14. Yeah.
This is where nilla comes in, and others.
THE CHARACTERS
NILLA BAKER
Nilla is a 13 year old girl and the protagonist of the game. She's kinda pissy and gets angry easily, but she's good at heart. She's secretly very fearful but is willing to push through it for her friends.
Nillas weapon is a baseball bat and her dream guide is a rabbit named Arley.
ARLEY
Nillas dream guide. Serious and calm, and is willing to do anything to help nilla on her quest. Small but powerful.
???
A member of the council, can see the future and the past. In hiding since he's under threat. A 12 foot tall monster who's secretly really shy and scared. Has crystals growing out of him.
Dream guides are animals connected to the "heroes" who are supposed to guide them along their journey. They often sort of counter their other half's personality in some way.
The council is supposed to keep watch over the entire Dream Plane but is currently seperated due to recent events.
Also I'm using ocs bc it's easier and I love them ok
