The backside of the tank in various phases. I think it's done for now until I add some beastly modifications.

It's really fun sketching out those panels and cutting them and building the tank piece by piece. Just feels really satisfying being able to build this in my little apartment on my little table.

Also those are 2 meters / almost 7ft of jewelry chain

Build the base for the gun tower. Im expectiv it to be 8cm high. ive build it so its gonna be detachable with magnes.

Reason is, i want to build a fairly big cannon but am worried it will block space on top of the tank for larger miniatures.

FAFNIR Project Log #1

So ive started working on a little project. Theres is a scenario in trench crusade where you fight a "dragon". The dragon is a giant creature on an, up to, 30cm large base.

Somehow i got the idea in my head that i want to build a giant possed monster tank for that.

A big part of the "dragon" is that you are supposed to be able to climb on it and fight on top of it. Most minis on the market for tanks dont allow that so im trying to build it myself. lets see where this goes.

The treads are from a baneblade.

Also im calling the whole thing Project FAFNIR
