Heya, fellow Looming Gaia fan here. Do you have any additional factoids for the 3 new classes (Meru, Youkai, and Eviolan) in addition to the new species of the existing classes (Primarily the Tamil & Boobani)?
The Tamil look like kobolds from D&D, especially like these ones
(Shitty image IK)
The Boobani are still kinda half-baked beyond being rabbit people, though I might have two variants like satyrs do: One like Alive Thymefield from ZZZ
And another more like an anthropomorphic rabbit like Bugs
But roughly human in height, if not a touch smaller
As for the other groups...
Meru were made just to get the species classes (Not including monsters and animals) to an even 6
All of the youkai are based off of actual youkai (I mean, they're also the best-known of the youkai, other than tanuki, so yeah
Eviolans are less resistant to iron on average to fae, but have bigger bodies on average, leading to them needing slightly more iron per pound to sicken them
Ignoring gnomes as an outlier, eviolans need less iron/pound to be sickened (Gnomes are tiny and likely need less iron than an elf to poison or even kill due to body weight)

TAN'NIR, THE NOMADS
Name: Longlimb, tallmen, Nir'Tan (Child)
Class: Commoner
Subclass: Terrian, Heavyweight
BIOLOGY
Tan'Nir are very tall commoners, standing on average 9'6", with females slightly taller than males. Their long, thin legs and 4 arms allow them to walk for hours without tiring
Tan'Nir look like gaians, with hooves like a llama's, drooping ears like a hound, and short blue hair hair over most of their body, although their inability to use magic betrays their true nature. Most Tan'Nir have golden, blue or brown eyes
While taller than even centaurs, tan'nir are only as strong as humans, their thin limbs betraying a general lack of muscle. However, most tan'nir have little care for cities due to their heightened senses overwhelming them in cities
Tan'Nir are much faster than most species outside of centaurs due to their long legs, although fauns are a close second place. Their four arms make them good at climbing, just like roshava and bugbears, but their hooves help them as well
Tan'Nir are not picky eaters, but cannot stomach raw meat very well, but are more resistant to various plant toxins than many other species. Their eyesight is on par to humans, and they lack significant nightvision. Their hearing, however, is excellent, and their sense of smell is similarly excellent
LIFESPAN
Tan'Nir usually live up to 80 years, although some healthy individuals can live up to 120 years old, and are the longest-lived commoner species
Tan'Nir can breed year-round, and female tan'nir are pregnant for 15 months before giving birth to a single child. Newborn tan'nir are much more developed than many other species, and can begin walking within a few months of birth
By the time tan'nir are 2 years old, they're considered children. At 5 years old, they're considered children, and are adolescents by 14. Tan'Nir are sexually mature by 21, but most will not have their own children for several years. After the age of 50, they're considered elders, and most become blind in their old age
CULTURE
Tan'Nir are similar to satyrs in that their heightened senses often makes it difficult for them to live in cities. Further like satyrs, many tan'nir live outside of cities in the wild, in family groups. Female satyrs and tan'nir mesh very well, resulting in satyr/tan'nir groups, where the tan'nir often protect their gaian friends from male satyrs
In Evangeline, many tan'nir became capable herders, since their natures make them capable herders. Many groups also stay nomadic, traveling between settlements and taking temporary jobs for some coin to spend on resources before leaving to the next village
Most tan'nir nomad groups are self-reliant, many herding sheep and gathering plants for food and medicine. These groups happily stay in cities for no more than a week, trading resources they've collected or woolen items for money to purchase resources they can't produce themselves before leaving.
Bugbears are similar in ogres in that they are massive commoners, matching their strength, toughness, and size.
The average bugbear stands slightly smaller than an ogre, but the size difference is generally negligible: Larger bugbears are bigger than a smaller ogre, but about the same size as an above average ogre
Bugbears have coarse hair over most of their bodies, except for their palms and the soles of their feet, which varies from light brown to pale blue-gray. Their two pairs of eyes rarely have visible sclera, and vary in shades of brown, from a pale sandy color to a near-black. Their pupils are difficult to see with darker eyes, leading bugbears with darker eyes to be mistaken for werewolves
They have four beefy arms, all of which lack significant fine motor skills, and a pair of short yet powerful legs, with a long, thick tail trailing behind them. Their hands are tipped in strong claws, which are useful for climbing as much as fighting
Bugbears rarely walk on only their legs, primarily walking on one or both pairs of their arms as well, their bodies highly top-heavy. Most bugbears only stand or walk on only their legs when absolutely needed, or if they are sitting down
Bugbears have a massive appetite like ogres do, and their digestive system is just as strong as that of an ogre. Most dislike consuming cooked meat, preferring raw or very lightly cooked meat. They struggle in hot environments due to their fur and inability to sweat, and in fact are the second least adapted to extreme heat, second only to yuki onna
LIFESPAN
Bugbears rarely live past the age of 70, and most don't live past 45. As such, they are the shortest-lived of all commoners
They can breed all year round, and female bugbears are pregnant for 8 months before giving birth to 3-4. Bugbear newborns are blind, deaf and helpless until they are 6 months old. Soon after this point, bugbears begin walking in hours, initially on all fours. By the time they are 2 years old, bugbears are considered toddlers. By the age of 4 they're considered children, adolescents by the age of 12, and are sexually mature by 16.
They become middle-aged by age 20, and elderly by age 35. Bugbear fur becomes paler as they age, with many bugbears becoming white when they're older
CULTURE
Bugbears are very similar to ogres in that they can easily depend on their brute strength as ogres and minotaurs, and are best adapted to cold environments. Their more gaian appearance makes them highly controversial in Evangeline, where they are legally citizens but look like beasts or gaians. As such, they're often social outcasts in Evangeline.
This rarely bothers bugbears, however, as they are rather simple: Most bugbears like to live simply and simply work, so many either live on farms that they're hired to either help on or control slaves, and sleep with the slaves, or out in the wilderness, where they hunt their own food and sell much of the byproducts at nearby settlements
In cities, many find work as port workers and guards

SUNDARA, THE FRIENDLY STRANGERS
Names: Nauplius (Larvae)
Class: Fae
Subclasses: Aquarian, Light
BIOLOGY
Sundara are bizarre Aquarian fae who first appeared in the aftermath of Project Starblast. Their crustacean appearance belies a great emotional intelligence and a very gregarious creature.
Sundara are small, only being 3-4 feet long and 6 inches in body height, although they can raise the front third of their body to make themselves a foot tall. They are rather weak, only being stronger than elves, gnomes and sprights, but they make up for it with very tough, chitinous exoskeletons.
Most sundara have backs that are various shades of blue, two pairs of red pincers, and a pair of large, black eyes. Their mouths are very similar to crustaceans, having many mouthparts, and they also have antennae that are the same color as their backs.
Sundara walk along at a shockingly high speed, using 16 pairs of legs to quickly run along the ground. They can also swim fairly well, but much prefer to explore the ocean along its floor.
Sundara eyes are extremely powerful, being able to see things no other species can, including at night, but have relatively poor hearing or smell out of water.
LIFE CYCLE
Sundara live up to 150 years, matching sirene in having the shortest lifespans of any fae. They naturally lay up to 4 eggs per clutch, which the parents and their community take great care of. Many sundara communities will make large pools separated from the ocean to keep their young safe in, laying eggs en masse.
When first born, sundara nauplii are only the size of a human fingernail and can be eaten by almost anything, so sundara nursing pools are initially featureless beyond sand and plants the young feast on, yet as they grow, larger and larger animals are placed into the pools, but never any animals that could threaten the life of the nauplii, either by preying upon them or by poisoning them.
At 2 years of age, sundara nauplii are able to breathe air and are about the size of a human middle finger, and are ready to begin learning magic. At 20 years of age, sundara reach adulthood, and usually become proficient in magic at that time.
Every 6 months, sundara need to shed their exoskeletons, and while they can shed without any aid, they like to help their friends with their shedding. To offer a sundara help with shedding their shells is like considering them a good friend, and many sundara with non-sundara friends will often appear to struggle to see if their friends will help them or not, feeling sad if no one offers help, in the belief their friends don't reciprocate their feelings.
CULTURE
Sundara are extremely social creatures, experiencing depressed if left with minimal social interactions much quicker than other species do. In sundara communities, every sundara knows every other sundara, and no sundara feels happy if they have a secret they haven't told their friends unless they've professed it's important to keep it secret.
When amongst other species, sundara take little time establishing bonds with other species, and will always take time to visit people in their communities.
To show their friendliness, sundara offer help where needed: Many will help look after children, offer food they've made or bought, or otherwise find ways to help their friends. Betrayal is unknown to sundara, and even those that are betrayed time and again will always forgive their compatriots
This forwardness and near-obsession with helping their friends is sometimes alarming to other species, but those who gladly accept the help and help the sundara in turn have a loyal friend for life, even if the help is lopsided against the sundara.
Unfortunately, this work ethic and friendliness is easily turned by slavers, who can befriend entire communities and then manipulate them into willingly becoming slaves, but sundara who are treated well have been found to work much harder than even entranced goblins, making sundara highly sought-after slaves.
However the time needed to establish the sufficient bond to give sundara this work ethic isn't always accepted by slave owners, who will struggle to find another method, since iron shackles are too heavy for sundara to work efficiently with, and whipping them just won't work with their tough exoskeletons protecting them from harm.
Zilla are one of the first discovered meru species, highly distinctive for their great flight capability and smaller size
Zilla are mostly quadrupedal when moving along the ground, using the hands on their wings to walk. However, they often fly to travel longer distances, vaulting themselves into the air with their wings
While not very strong at all, being easily overpowered by even human children as adults, and not being too large, being close in size to sundara, zilla have managed to mostly avoid being enslaved by simply flying away from their pursuers
Most zilla are tan with pale highlights, although male zilla, usually referred to as zephyrs, have deep blue, dark brown and white stripes on their tail vane and crest, which are noticeably larger than female zilla, called euru
Zilla are about 30 inches tall and 4 feet long, with a wingspan of 9 feet, and rarely weigh over 30 pounds, with males slightly larger than females
LIFE CYCLE
Zilla usually live for 80 years, although many can live past 100 years old if they are healthy
Zilla lay clutches of 2-6 eggs, with 3 or 4 eggs being most common. These eggs are much harder shelled than gorgon eggs, more similar to chicken eggs, and are sufficiently conical to roll in circles, and are an intense blue-green shade with black speckling. After 4 months of incubation, the hatchlings, or anemoi, emerge from their eggs, and are able to walk around after a few hours. After 3 years of age, they are considered toddlers, but only begin to learn to fly after 6 years of age, when they become children. At 12 years of age they become teenagers, when males begin to gain their crests' coloration. At 15 years old, they become full adults. They become elderly at around 70 years old
CULTURE
Many zilla are free-roaming, preferring to stay on the move over settling too much. Outside of raising young children, most zilla families will move frequently, and young adults will often leave their families after meeting another young adult, or leave when they want additional freedom to move on their own
Zilla are frequently demonized for eating food from the trash, as many young adults lack any care for eating trash food, leading to their species being called ratpigeons
In Evangeline, zilla live free despite being legally slaves, as most zilla that have not been enslaved since childhood simply fly away from slavers faster than the slavers can aim and throw a net or loose an arrow at them, and cause minimal damage besides, since many will wait for harvests to sneak anything left behind by harvesters, or simply eating pests and fish they catch themselves
Evelynn Heartflame was born in Evangeline to a typical farmer family in the middle 5th Age, oblivious to her future divine status.
She had a generally simple and calm childhood, although her family did report she had a pyromaniac streak even as a child, loving to burn small fires for herself.
DIVINITY
Sometime after her 6th birthday, Evelynn was granted divinity and all of its implications. This went generally unnoticed for 3 years, when her mother realized she hadn't aged a day since she was 6
As time went on, it only became more clear to her family that Evelynn was, indeed, a divine. Her mother was fearful for what would happen should she inevitably become an orphan, and, on her deathbed, made Evelynn's oldest brother, and the heir to their ailing father's farm, swear to her that he would take care of her after their father's death.
6 months later, Evelynn's father died of heart failure, and true to his word, Evelynn's brother Angelo not only took her in, he made his children take care of the young divine as well
Evelynn knew extremely little of her divinity for years, only knowing she was never growing and wasn't allowed to go into town, a rule her brother had made to his children to ensure she wasn't taken away from them by the Evangelite government or the World Athenaeum
Eventually, she was placed in the care of Angelo, her "uncle" who was her brother's great-grandson many times removed. Soon after she settled into his home, Angelo fell deathly ill and learned he had, at best, two years to live. The rest of their family was deemed unsuitable to care after Evelynn by Angelo's father, and so, breaking 600 years of tradition, took her to a DivineCon in Matuzu at the World Athenaeum, having her registered to get in
Here, Evelynn quickly befriended a divine named Skylie, and after learning of her family from Angelo, was adopted by the younger divine. Skylie quickly took to bonding with the little girl, teaching her basic magic and having her friend Saraia forge Evelynn a monster named Bishop, who quickly bonded with Evelynn while being highly aggressive to anyone other than Evelynn
Eventually, Evelynn learned how to make explosives, which made her already-pyromania-prone mind gleam with destructive intent: During the AFPINIOT War, she quickly used her limited explosives knowledge to destroy small warbands while refining her bomb crafting skills, something that got so out of hand Skylie had to ban her from using bombs recklessly

MORTAL LIFE
Random Poffle was just a mere poffle, a monster forged by Miliko to be accessories for a fashion line he designed, only to be abandoned by him when he looked upon them in disgust.
After Project Starblast, all monsters at the time gained souls, and many would after being born afterwards, although no one knew what this meant for some...
After he was purchased by a rich Evangelite who wanted one in secret, he was a well-kept secret by his owner's servants, until one day he yipped a little too loud near some Evangelite guards, who found him and killed him. His owner could do nothing, although the oddest thing happened...
DIVINITY
His owner mourned Random Poffle until she purchased another who looked just like him, because it was him, resurrected as a divine, although none except divines would know this.
