Projectober - day 1
So I took stock of all the ongoing WIPs I have and shortlisted 26 that I actually really want to finish, but because I have appalling attention span I keep putting them down and picking up new ones before completing them.
These things range from completing miniatures I started to make, to partially-written short stories and D&D stuff. SOME of these things are nearly 3 years old because for whatever reason I keep putting them off.
I’ll probably end up leaving the written stuff to next month (what with NaNoWriMo looming), but hopefully by the end of the month I’ll have a whole new stack of miniatures, art, D&D content, maybe even some music idk
Look at this mess - a lot of it I'm still quite proud of, but man there's so much WORK and it's SCARY, and this is just some of the physical stuff never mind oneshots and stories and things.
So I’ve decided to do what I’m calling PROJECTOBER in a bid to push at least some of them to completion, where I make a conscious effort to make visible progress with some of these things and then I POST ABOUT IT at the end of the day. Maybe accountability will help lol.
For day 1 I’ve just started creating stat-blocks for the myriad of magic item and monster ideas I have saved in my notes app. I’ll be working on some art for some of them tomorrow evening and over the weekend, but it’s getting late now: a slow start to ease my way into the challenge.
Wish me luck y’all
