Holiday sewing project!

A steampunk waistcoat.

The brown silk is for the front, the cotton print is for the back, and the pale stuff is for the lining.

Hopefully, I'll finish it before classes start and I leave my sewing machine at home.

it would appear that Im now going to have to choose what to drill on working to get out before Wizards releases so taking a poll- Would you all be more keen on reading the rest of the Mordred!Douxie fic I Remember Everything (which, as of the two new clips/trailers, will be much more "classic arthuriana" then canon compliant), or

-seeing an animatic with Douxie and Zoe singing a Maren Morris/Hozier song (a couple sneak peek frames below!)

Either way I can't promise they'll be out by the 7th but right now I can only focus on one at a time and I'd very much like to know which you'd all like to see first ✌️💙

Project Updates

Mermaid top - my clasp for the neck strap arrived yesterday. I've done no more work as I need to try it on a few times to make sure I've got the strap lying right and haven't been able to.

I also ordered some clear straps for extra support.

Tail - my neoprene arrived yesterday as well, it's a light beige color to match the front of the Mako tails and should be light enough to paint nicely over.

I managed to get a pair of flippers on eBay for £8 (a massive deal as they're usually about £40.) Also got some more paint ordered - yellow, more orange, a dark red and brown.

Everything's hopefully coming this week.
