sorry guys for the delay on project youtube, i'll be figuring stuff out today!

Thank you guys so much for reading. It warms my heart already that you want to be involved in this project. But enough mush, let’s get into some rules and instructions.

The video will be formatted into three basic parts: Intro, YouTuber and End. I haven’t figured out the nitty gritty details but I’m hoping I can edit it this way! Let’s move on to the fun stuff.

WHAT TO SUBMIT

1. Intro

For this part, I want you guys to answer the question – ‘Why do you watch YouTube?’ Why do you love it so much, how does it make you feel, what parts of it do you like?

Keep your video length to 10-30 secs max

State your first name and city before going into your answer. Example: 'Hi, my name's Lauren from London!'

Answer the question 'why do you watch YouTube?' You can be as creative as you want in your response!

Please don't mention any specific YouTuber, that's for the next part.

2. YouTuber

The bulk of the video! I’m going to be dividing this section by YouTuber. This is a little trickier to organise because as I mentioned I can’t include everyone. I’ve created a poll so you guys can vote for what YouTuber you want to be in the video. So it’s a little fairer, you guys can add YouTubers and vote for them. LINK FOR POLL

Once that’s all decided, here’s what you need to do.

Keep your video length to 30 secs - 2 mins max

Start with saying 'Hey [YouTuber's name]!' Then go into why you love them/their videos, perhaps how long you've watched them for, what's one sentence you would have to say to them if you met them, etc.

If they have a signature thing they do (i.e Troye's wink, Grace saying 'I don't know...') I would encourage that! Also be creative as possible, the sky's the limit!

And of course, you can submit a video for more than 1 of the YouTubers chosen. Keep in mind that I may have to not include your own multiple videos as to include as many of you guys as possible :)

3. End

This will be similar to the Intro, I’ll include more responses of why you love YouTube. But I just need something else.

At the end of the video you submit (if you're submitting multiple, just pick one), pause after you've said everything else and say 'thank you, youtube.'

Again, you can be as creative as you want but just make sure there is enough room for me to edit out your 'thank you' for the video to flow better.

Overall note: REALLY IMPORTANT to make sure your image and sound is clear. It makes the editing a bit easier for me and it also makes it more enjoyable to watch :)

HOW TO SUBMIT

You can make a video response to this video or send the link to my ask box or twitter (@itsjustmesam). YouTube links would be preferable, but if you’re having trouble uploading your submission/s just inbox or tweet me and we’ll figure it out!

this project sounds so cool and it would be really great if you could include some of the youtubers that arent as well known cause they seem to represent strangely enough most of the content creator population and they're really underrated and deserve just as much recognition as the more popular ones. im thinking like thethirdpew, marinashutup, lesliefoundhergrail, albinwonderland, melanie murphy, justmargaret, heythere005 just 2 name a few! :) thanks so much
