I think I just stumbled on to my second fave sequence from the Sanrio Meets, at least so far.

Gudetama's fave item is a...rolled up blanket?

Are they dreaming in Gudetama quotes?

"I wanna sleep" "So boring" "It can wait until tomorrow"

"Zzz..." (that repeats a bunch of times)

"No-good morning"

(not sure how to get the idea across? instead of "ohayou gozaimasu" (good morning) it's "ohayou gozaimasen" which makes it the negative version of "good morning")

Anyway! The gen 3 twins are now Mirinatchi and Marikurutchi!

I haven't done any mixing with Turirinatchi before, so seeing how these two grow should be fun.

Guess what finally happened? I wasn't even expecting it!

Aaaand the first twin award goes to the On! 🥳 Can't wait to see how they turn out!

(since technically the gen 2 boys are on different units...)

Not sure on names yet...my first thought was a combo name, but not only does that not work great for twins, but "Kipon" sounds like a Patapon name. Not a bad thing, it just doesn't fit here.

Okay! It's morning, time for another day of tama caretaking!

Wow, they both grew up into fluffy Mametchi! I mean, the head and body are totally Lovelitchi, but the ears and eyes are so distinct that I go "that's a Mametchi" first. I guess they really are honorary twins! Though the different colors give an interesting feel. I wonder how that'll influence their kids?

Oh, right, I need to name Pompomtchi and Kikitchi's twins and get set for baby mo--huh?

oh noooo (...why are you kids already?!)

I left the On with the naming screen up last night, because I wasn't sure what to name them. I put them in my pocket this morning, and that's all, until this...

Well...um...geez.

I guess it shows how forgiving the Meets line is?? Most baby tamas would probably be toast after an hour+ with no care! I'm amazed they didn't starve...and glad, too.

I...guess I'll still call them Twirlitchi and Hoppitchi like I planned, but it's not gonna show in their images. Man, it feels weird having nothing in the name slot.

...does...the On not do default names at all? I know the Meets won't give default names with twins, but did this happen because they're twins, or because it's the On?

...how did I manage to confirm a blank name with it in my pocket, but not letter spam or AAAAA, like some kinda stepped-on NES controller? What even is this???

Welp! Here's to an unexpected welcome to the second generation, you two!

Update time! All of the Meets tamas have gotten a little bit bigger...

...and a little bit cuter, if I say so myself. Two swan princes and a pixie with a wand? Sounds good to me!

(wish she could have the wand and wings too, how nice would that look?)

With the twins now teens and Miraritchi an adult, I've definitely decided to give my On a chance to catch up, generation wise.

But I'm also planning to do a bit of pet mixing in the meantime, so you'll still see the older trio some.

Plus, I want to try something that's new to me: pairing up tamas with the app! I've used it for games, and to confirm that connections were working properly. Making a match via Tama Party will be a first, though!

I'm not planning to use this method only from here on, but it would be nice to mix in genes I don't have access to.

(the fantasy meets characters look pretty nice...no! no, i won't even think about it! no new tamas right now!)

Twirlitchi, your drum...ah, what am I saying? If you want to get married and march to your own beat, you do that!

Ki from Kikitchi, You from Youmotchi. Finally found a combo name that works for the On! Not a huge deal, but they're way harder to make in Roman characters than in kana... (max is 8 letters, so at full width, even some standard tamas are probably pushing it)

Oh, and sorry about the background changes here! I was hunting for good lighting and not finding much.

With that, generation 3 is finally in full swing... and somehow everyone is turning out very cute and fluffy. I like it!

Here's an unlock for my second generation on the On, too! Since only adults can wear accessories, I felt like it was a good time...

...and the toy drum is actually fitting for Twirlitchi and Hoppitchi, isn't it?

(sorry about the glare in that bottom corner! it was very sunny in that direction)

And just like their dad Kikitchi, they're always glad to play on a scooter, so that's what they did the minute they got home from Toy Park.

I wish I had the skills to draw these two; the image of pom-poms, toy drums, scooters, and neck bandannas is very cute in my head.

Since it's taking me a bit to decide what their next generation might be like, I think I'll hold off on gen 4 until all three tamas have gen 3 adults. So if things ever start looking uneven, that's why. I'll probably bring it up again though!

It looks like their neglect as babies didn't hurt Twirlitchi or Hoppitchi! They're doing fine now. (I made up for it with high care teens I guess?)

And while I forgot how many visits to Gourmet Street/Food Town were needed, I was actually prepared for this next location unlock. You know it's Tamagotchi World when fruit turns into cars and the response is "let's go for a ride!"

...?

Um...I feel like the names of these could be flipped...?

Here's one of my favorite animations from the Sanrio Meets!

The item is キキ&ララシアタ (Kiki and Lala's Theater). 1800 gotchi points at the main Tama Depa! (the one in "my town")

Once I figure out how to share it here, I'll record it; there's some details that I missed.
