I did Lightbox this year! Super fun! There was a Proko contest I entered where you are given a bunch of references and you have to take minimum of three and make a picture out of it. At first I thought it was maximum of three so I downloaded all the ones I liked and tried to narrow it down. But when I saw it was minimum I decided to use all of them.
So the top picture is my final submission. The middle is where I was working out my thoughts on what to do. I was going to make the lemur the colors of the bird but then the dancer became the center of attention so I though it better if she had the bird colors. I managed to work the star scary building sculpture in twice which I’m pretty happy with! I don’t know why I’m drawn to the creepy pictures.
Also I know the piano isn’t right. I didn’t have time to find a real piano to reference so I used the one given and did my best with what I remember pianos look like. And I didn’t put in the feet peddles.
