PROM
Lima Heights Institute will be hosting the Prom on Saturday May 9th. Dinner will be served in the Cafeteria starting at 5pm with a formal dance to follow from 7pm-12 midnight in the Great Hall. Attendance is MANDATORY.
Here are the rules for the dance -
Every student must have an escort in order to attend. Those who don’t have escorts will prep, serve and clean up the dance.
Doms can escort up to two submissives (sub or switch) and Switches can escort one (sub or switch).
Those who do not have escorts will not be able to partake in the dance.
Please send in your date names to the Main.
No alcohol or drugs allowed.
There will be no wondering the school - students will only be allowed in the Great Hall, the Cafeteria and the Court yard. Anyone found outside of those designated areas will be escorted by the guards to the dungeons for the rest of the night
Formal attire is required - formal dresses and shoes and/or suits with jackets and ties.
Court Royalty
Nominations/voting for Winter Formal court will run through Sunday May 3rd. Send in who you nominate for Court both male and female to the Main Blog. You may nominate yourself or someone else, nominations can be anonymous as well.
VOTING will occur between May 3rd and 8th. Once the list of nominees is posted, send in your 3 votes for male and 3 votes for females to the Main. The most votes for male will be crowned King, with the next two voted as Prince. Same for females with most votes being Queen and next two Princesses. Court will be announced at the dance.
Activities
Apart from the dinner and dancing, there will be snacks throughout the dance, poker tables to play cards, a photo booth (with background and accessories) a decorated court yard.
There will also be prizes for Best Dressed (both male and female) as well as Cutest Couple and Dance Machine. (OOC - we’ll have a channel in the discord to post the links to your outfits. Cutest Couple and Dance machine are determined by activity on the dance through the dance. Winners are chosen by admins.)
OOC
As always, any plots that are triggering or would involve a large amount of people must be approved through the admins. Additionally, if there are any plots regarding breaking the rules of the school/dance, that needs to be run through us as well for strategy regarding it. Any other questions, please let us know.
Again, we will be doing a “pause time” kinda thing to allow the Prom to run through the weekend (Saturday and Sunday). IC - it’s just Saturday. But we will be allowing the convos and paras about the Prom to continue both days.
When making starters for the dance - remember they will be F2F starters. This will LIKELY MEAN less people replying, so don’t be discouraged. Additionally - PLEASE PLEASE check the starters before posting your own. Otherwise everyone posts a starter that says the same thing. So, look first, then post. As always, starters are more likely to be answered if they are going somewhere. Just posting, “Hey do you wanna dance?” - that doesn’t have a lot of opportunity to go very far passed that, making it difficult to answer.
