Started working a lot of fundamentals on paper, then went to steel and did some combat shooting. βWhatβs Combat shooting?!β Glad you asked... Combat shooting to me is the closest to real life. Shooting with both eyes open while maintaining peripheral vision and moving towards the threat/cover. Placing accurate rounds on target as fast as possible the whole time. The goal here is not marksman level shooting, but to get hits on target as fast as possible. If I needed to make a precise head shot, I would not be using combat shooting. Instead I would be using marksmanship shooting to ensure shot placement.
