preach! it’s so funny when people think stuff just ends up on final cuts by accident, NO you agonize over frames and takes until you convey what you mean to.
Some people seem to think that all the shots happen by accident? They just let the camera roll and the actors do whatever?? I actually just re-watched their love scene again and it was shot from 14 different angles. Which means that even if they had two different cameras on them at the time, they would still have to redo the scene carefully 7 different times in order for the continuity of the scene to work, so they could switch between different shots easily. I also realized that the shots of them undressing are done with a steadicam or a handycam so that the camera can follow their movements, sort of showing their eagerness with the way the camera jolts. And all of their smiley kisses are extreme close-ups from different angles. Even if Maisie and Joe giggled because they were nervous, they had 13 other angles to chose from when they were putting the scene together. So not an accident lol.
