"Just because they changed it doesn’t mean it didn’t exist." It doesn't exist because it doesn't exist. Nothing was changed. Anyone with a dvd can confirm this. But you are not interested in that are you? You just want someone to say what you want. Facts be dammed.

Remember this;

It did exist. They changed it for the DvD. I’ve already asked the journalist that saw the film at Venice, they told me that quote was in English and Italian Subtitles. They altered it for the final version of the film… like they did for a lot of original ideas/plans (the official script released with the film includes a few of these). 

But, gee… let’s just pretend that I was about to hand you an official quote from Nomura talking about this particular line, what would you say then, anon? Would Nomura’s comment be enough to convince you? Surely an official comment from one of the creator’s would shut you up?

Get called out for saying Cloud wanted to die in AC? Post a pic of some cans. It's about the level of response expected. And it makes just as much sense as any other post of yours.

Actually, I just recently got confirmation from the gaming journalist that went to Venice. They confirmed to me that in Italian and English subtitles the ‘special’ version of AC DID include Tifa saying;  

 "You think you' ll meet her again this way? You think you would reach her by doing so? The way you die could be a good way, is that what you think?"

Just because they changed it doesn’t mean it didn’t exist. If you watch AC anyone can see that Cloud is giving up on life, this is why Cloud tells Zack’s grave that he can’t keep his promise. 

He’s ready to die to be with Aerith again.

I saw you post about the rings in advent children, I thought only Tifa had one I didn't know Barret did too. What are the rings for? Is there any story or evidence on them that let's us know what they're about and who they're for?

All the evidence we have is that Barret and Tifa wear one on their fingers, Denzel wears one around his neck (on a string) and Cloud has an earring and shoulder-armor-thingy-ma-bob. 

The wolf shows up for Cloud any time he’s reflecting on his guilt. Same for other characters. Barret and Tifa both share a guilt for things they’ve done so they get the rings to represent it since it’s not really focused on in the film.

I’m not sure if they’re wearing the rings in Dirge of Cerberus, though.

"Tifa, speaking to Cloud about him wanting to die in order to meet Aerith again; taken from Advent Children: ‘Special Edition’" Ah great. A line that doesn't exist from a version that can be viewed when you buy the dvd. Fake quotes really are the best clerith quotes right?

I don’t know why you’re denying the quote. The journalist that reported that saw the film himself and then was interviewed by huge gaming magazines.

Tons of cloti blogs include that scan in their compilation posts for cloti ‘proof’ and yet you want to tell me the movie doesn’t count when the discussion is about how Tifa knows Cloud wants to die to be with Aerith?
