APPENDIX - Ei Ratta Oo Mun Valuuttaa 12” (1983/1982, Finland, Propaganda//Finland)

My favorite Finnish punk 12”. The material on this album is on the “Money Is Not My Currency” collection. Apparently put together like a boy band by record industry people, but damn, they were able to create the perfect punk album of catchiness and fire. I believe the red vinyl copies are third pressing on first pressing covers.

V/A RUSSIA BOMBS FINLAND 12" (1982, Finland, Propaganda)

When the first bootleg of this raging comp came out, it was my first chance to affordably check out the bands that I had only heard a few songs from on mix tapes or had just heard tall tales of. If you’re looking to check out the classic early 80s Finn hardcore bands, this is a great starting point. Do you lust for sloppy thrash where the drums sound like they were thrown down several flights of stairs? Some of the Hohnie re-presses are questionably authorized, but I was told that his repress of this record has the booklet that supposedly came with some original pressings. My Propaganda copy is on red and doesn't have it. I have not heard of anyone having an original pressing with the booklet. Maybe my friends are just unlucky?
