I am NOT prepared enough to submit the full details of why eichi tenshouin is a Freaaaak but here’s some propaganda:

- obsessed and in love with Wataru Hibiki of all characters. Like cmon you can’t not be a freak if you’re into wataru

- built a torture labyrinth under a studio for bogie time to piss Ibara off

- frequently torments Tomoya just bc he’s jealous and wants to see him suffer like the sadist he is (turned the elevators off and made him walk, launched him out of a plane, made him take part in a fighting contest bc he was the only person Eichi thought he could take in a fight and he waned to beat him up, abandoned him in an evil section of a theme park, provided an abandoned shed and set up videos to watch wataru trick him into thinking he was in a place where someone had died, it goes on…)

- is frequently doing and saying weird shit to the juniors he likes (look at any of his interactions w Tori or Hajime)

- purposefully antagonises anyone who dislikes him, gets frustrated at him, or hates him literally every chance he gets

- is addicted to a real human being

- calls Yuzuru sexy (you have to be a certified freak to be into Yuzuru too)

- said he gave birth to Tori (is into mpreg????)

- is so freaky they had to remove his line about revenge porn in mainsto. Imagine being too freaky for enstars bro 😭

Listen chat 🫵 a true freak inspires others. After watching Dramatica 4 (my beloved), my friends and got on Minecraft at 12am to create yaoi mountain, which is now a server government approved monument, and built a shrine nearby complete with ShuMika flash fanfic.

I'm just saying, as far as I'm aware, Tsumugi hasn't inspired others to terrorize a bunch of people.

Honestly outside from the comedic moments, I don't think Wataru really exemplifies that much freak energy to me, again he's very much a perfomative freak, and in other stories, he seems way more sincere and rational... And that doesn't really vibe with me as "freak".

Meanwhile, I can very much include how in Element, even Wataru called Tsumugi the greatest clown he's ever seen. You know what's better than a perfomative freak? Someone who naturally just is one.

Tsumugi WHOLEHEARTEDLY placed his trust and hope into Eichi, he practically lied to himself in the ideals that were told to him, carrying out various acts to make sure the war ran smoothly. To the point that Eichi even acknowledged that he wouldn't have been able to do it without Tsumugi.

And it IS pitiful when the veiled is pulled back and Tsumugi has to confront that those lies he told himself, were lies. And it's a clownery that Wataru praises.

LET ME REMIND YOU, this doesn't excuse how mercilessly Tsumugi carried out acts in exfine's name, if not for the video I had posted below showcasing him confronting Natsume. The way Tsumugi surrenders to Eichi's cause is still a present thing he does, just now with Natsume.

That dedication can and for me, is freaky. It's endearingly freaky. And knowing that, I have never doubted Tsumugi over Wataru.

Saw that Izumi is slowly inching closer to Tsumugi, and HEAR ME OUT. IZUMI IS A VANILLA FREAK !! HE'S THEATRE KID MATERIAL !! HE'S DRAMATIC. SURE. but Tsumugi is on a whole different level. Even REI was weirded tf by him.

If you want more standard "freak" descriptions, it's been shown that Tsumugi had an affinity for the Eccentrics (think of how he was friends with Shu and Rei before the war), and even he caught the eye of Wataru (who started calling TSUMUGI his predecessor !! <- mostly in part of the blue bird role to Eichi) but see, you could interpret this as Wataru acknowledging that they were on a similar level.

This part of altered where he says all the war stuff make him emotionally unstable, which with how he was during it all, he was probably feeling the messier feelings and weight of his actions for the first time, putting this here because I feel is relevant for his increasingly silly moments as he bottles up his feelings a lot

Once again, trying to become a parental figure to someone else (also in Altered)

But perhaps the biggest evidence of his freak ass is this one

This is a scene in SHINSEKAI where Tsumugi wanted to see if he could change Shu's emotions so Shu could love him back, just look at him, he is getting VERY eager to do that if only Natsume didn't stop him, so sad 😔

I know Tsumugi is masochistic too because of my oomfs who know better stuff of ntmg and tbh if you wish to see more of that side of him you can ask the ntmg shippers too (due to reasons I kinda forgot those specific moments but I know they are there, it's just that I'm personally not into ntmg) like the infamous wonder game tying incident (and in one of the earliest chapters too 😭 )
