#Repost @sandfordfitness with @get_repost ・・・ Today is the 100 year anniversary of the death of Dick Burge, I read about him in a book called Bella of Blackfriars, it’s about the old Boxing Arena on Blackfriars Rd, it sound like it was the York hall of its day. Dick was a Boxer, Bookmaker, Performer,Promoter and Army Sergeant, who lost is life at the age of 51 helping others when Hitler was bombing the gaff.
