[POLITICS] Geth Splinter Demands Equal Distribution
via Rannoch Herald SCLIFOSI A recently founded faction for the Geth, dubbing itself an Egalitarian Share Collective, is advocating for equal distribution of the Consensus’ current resource stockpiles to all Geth runtimes. Prior to their ascension to fully independent AI, the Geth were understood to function as a collective that processed numerous decisions in fractions of a second and acted with unanimous support for the winning solution. Today that has obviously changed, with the emergence of distinct factions, not unlike political parties, advocating for their preferred course of future actions for the Consensus. Some Geth are reportedly ignoring Rannoch and we quarians entirely, focusing on building their own future in interstellar space where they had resided for the past three centuries already. A representative from the collective, who requested to be referred to as “Opportunity” explained to us that their faction wanted to initiate wider discussion within the Consensus about the current state of all Geth-owned property.
