I graduated from theatre school in 2000. I’m lucky to have been working in the entertainment industry since before I graduated. I have made a living, bought a house, sold a house, gone on vacations and paid my bills all from working in the arts and live entertainment industry. Despite being curmudgeons sometimes, those of us who work in this business really do love what we do. And quite honestly if we wanted to do something else we would have long ago. These crazy times we’re in have proven that ALL the arts are just as important to ones sanity and quality of life as having access to food and shelter. Let’s not forget those working in these industries as we wait to get back to doing what we do best. Remember to put a red light in your windows tonight and hopefully one day soon we can all go back to the various venues we all work in and show you all what we do best. #lightuplive #yegarts #theatre #propsbuilder #scenicpainter #visualartist #abartsaction @jkenney @davideggenab @justinpjtrudeau @kerrydiotte @stevenguilbeault https://www.instagram.com/p/CFdQJtCAshU/?igshid=1kdolm73ijgp4
