It's the typical sleepover. Even though they happen to be in the same room, there seems to be a little more distance between the two of them, for the way they both keep themselves busy with their own affairs; Hinata typing away at his phone and Komaeda at the laptop.
A nice and quiet atmosphere is usual between the two of them, but in it, comes the time to think. Or at least it does for Komaeda. He glances at the other every now and then, and while he usually smiles to himself for the way Hinata makes little faces at the tiny screen depending on what he's doing, he can't help but frown, just the slightest.
Ever since they've become closer, he's never really gotten the chance to view a little deeper into him. In his mind, all they've really gone on about are his own illnesses and misfortunes, even when he's completely sure there are things that hold Hinata back as well. All is known for the way the other sometimes takes his time to answer through things, his curt replies to matters regarding himself-- and most of all, for the way he seems to carry the world's burdens. Little details speak and whisper in his ear, and for once, he thinks he can speak up about them.
Glancing up one last time, Komaeda lets out a small breath and calls out, gentle but firm.
"...Say, Hajime-kun?"
He taps his fingers lightly over the laptop screen, keeping gray and curious eyes completely focused on his boyfriend.
"What're you doing right now-- do you think it could wait a minute?"
