Just knowing basic grammar doesn't change the fact that you're not being very compassionate nor loving human being for supporting such an institution as Seaworld, sorry. Blackfish isn't the only documentary on Seaworld or captivity either, and they also asked Seaworld to take part in the film and they (Seaworld) refused.
Ok, sure, not compassionate by supporting an organization that has rescued and rehabilitated over 23,000 animals? How about you try directing this energy towards actually conserving our oceans, and worry about the mass population of whales that are being threatened everyday to overfishing and pollution. It’s activists like you, my dear anon, that are preventing good being done in the oceans. You saw that with the rejected calf in Norway. Activists like you have given people who want to help these animals unnecessary hoops to jump through to rescue these animals. If rescued, there would be no other option than to keep the calf in captivity for the rest of its life due to its young age. But no, people like you had to make a stink about it, causing a delay, in which by the time the government got out there, it was too late. So thank you. Who is not compassionate now?The reason that SeaWorld refused was because they had absolutely no control as to how their information was going to be presented! Look at this man who was interviewed, what makes you think SeaWorld’s side of the story wouldn’t have been manipulated as well?

They manipulated EVERY fact in this film. Remember when it cuts to a male trainer with his face cut open and bleeding, implying the injury was killer whale interaction related? The trainer was no where NEAR a whale when that happened, he wasn’t paying attention and he ran his head into one of the shows TV screens. EVERYTHING in this film was taken out of context, warped and manipulated to further their money making agenda. Where did the 1.4+ million dollars go that they have made off this film? I don’t see any media advertising what they are doing with that money. Don’t you think that would be an important thing to publicize if you are combating a for-profit company? SeaWorld has been more up front with their spending than Blackfish has. And they have done more for the over all health of ecosystems world wide with their Busch Gardens conservation fund.
What gives you liberty to speak on this at all anon?? You have NOT seen the inside workings of SeaWorld. You have NOT seen a rescue and rehabilitation team in complete and utter despair after an extremely long 12 hour night of caring for a sick, dehydrated and starving animal that they just weren’t able to save despite their best efforts (which by the way, seems like a very compassionate human thing to do; show grief when an animal has been hurt, so don’t you dare tell me my co-workers lack compassion and love) You have NOT seen the dedication, the sacrifice and commitment that every worker and trainer has for these animals. Until you have you have absolutely NO right to base an opinion off of what people ‘think’ is right because they published it to a blog, because you have NOT seen it first hand. Go. Home.
